Span leverages it's expertise in manufacturing and engineering to provide a level of technical support services unique in the industry. Span sites maintain local team of engineers and technicians trained to provide rapid response to quality problem containment.
In the event of a quality spill, our technical support teams will swing into action immediately to ensure the OEM/ECM lines are not impacted. Working in concert with your technical staff, our engineers quickly develop inspection/rework/test processes and deploy them using our trained workforce to ensure supply of defect free parts. Quality data on non-conforming parts is captured and communicated to the supplier manufacturing sites using QOS metrics charts to provide the feedback for permanent corrective actions.
Many supplier partners choose to use Span's technical capabilities on a more proactive basis. Acting as an extension of suppliers resources, Span engineers provide onsite resident engineering support at the OEM/ECM site and provide valuable feedback for continual improvement.
