A growing logistics company is looking for an experienced Operations Manager in support of our client in automotive and electronics industry. The person should have 3-5 years of hands on experience in running a fast pace warehouse/distribution facility and managing a team of warehouse employees over 3 shifts. Excellent communication skills are a must. English – verbal and written. Good computer skills required.



Below is a list of some of the key responsibilities:



Financial:

• Responsible for Profit and Loss statement of the facility

• Creation of annual budget and implementation once approved.

• Cost saving initiatives generation and implementation for the program



Operations Responsibilities:

• Ensure full customer satisfaction

• review and audit operations procedures and processes

• regular meetings with the customer to discuss any issues and improvement actions

• ensure that all operational equipment is operational and safe

• drive continuous improvements action items


Human Resources Responsibilities:

• manage a team of people in a extremely fast pace environment

• ensure adequate team of people is available

• schedule an efficient and adequate support to the customer

• perform employee performance reviews

• hire and lay off personnel depending on the requirements

• responsible for safety and working conditions of all employees



Quality:

• Knowledge of all proprietary policy and procedures and ensure complete adherence of the program to all policies

• Assist on-going quality certification audits assisting the quality department in all required aspects




INDIVIDUAL WE SEEK WILL MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:

- University degree

- Strong experience in operations and logistics management

- Superb verbal and written communication skills (Hungarian and English)

- Good computer skills especially in MS Office products

- ABILITY TO TRAVEL
